Power Brake Booster

- With engine off, pump brake pedal several times to eliminate vacuum in power brake booster. Depress and hold brake pedal in applied position, and start engine.
- If pedal drops further, operation is normal. If pedal does not drop, vacuum system (vacuum hoses, check valve, etc.) may be defective and should be checked. If no defect is located in vacuum system, power brake booster is defective.
