Blower Motor Inspection: Notes

• Check motor coil for continuity between terminals as shown. If there are no continuity, replace blower motor assembly (1).

• Check motor for operation and current.
  1. Fix blower motor assembly (1) using soft-jawed vise.
  2. Connect battery to blower motor assembly (1) as shown.

  3. Check that blower motor operates smoothly and doesn't make abnormal noise.
  4. Check that ammeter indicates specified current.

If current is out of specification, replace blower motor.
