All Latches, Hinges and Locks Inspection

Engine Hood

Check that secondary latch operates properly (check that secondary latch keeps hood from opening all the way even when pulling hood release handle inside vehicle.) Also check that hood opens and closes smoothly and properly and hood locks securely when closed. If any malfunction is found, lubricate hinge and latch, or repair hood lock system.
