Throttle Cable Adjustment (Rodeo & Rodeo Sport 2.2L)

- Remove air intake pipe from throttle body. See Fig 1 .
- Loosen throttle cable adjustment nut. Loosen throttle cable jam nut.
- Pull outer throttle cable back while fully closing the throttle valve. Tighten throttle cable adjusting nut. Tighten throttle cable jam nut.
- Loosen throttle cable adjusting nut 3 turns. Tighten throttle cable jam nut again.
- Manually operate throttle valve. Ensure that throttle valve lever closes completely against throttle stop.
