Compressor Removal and Installation: Installation

CAUTION:
Be sure to use HFC-134a (R-134a) compressor oil.
- If compressor was replaced, pour new compressor oil with the same amount as that drained from compressor. Refer to "REPLENISHING COMPRESSOR OIL
" of "Performance Diagnosis of A/C System:".

NOTE: Compressor assembly supplied from factory is filled up with the following amount of oil.Amount of oil in compressor
100 cm 3 (100 cc, 6.1 in.3 )
- Install compressor as follows.
- Install compressor to its bracket.
- Connect suction and discharge hoses to compressor.
- Install compressor drive belt. Refer to POWER STEERING PUMP DRIVE BELT INSPECTION AND for Installation and Belt Tension.
- Connect thermal protector lead wire.
- Evacuate and charge system according to Operation Procedure for Charging A/C with Refrigerant CAUTION: Be sure to use HFC-134a (R-134a) compressor oil.
