Esteem (1.6L) & VITARA

Turn ignition off. Disconnect TP sensor connector. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between specified terminals of TP sensor connector. See Fig 1 . See THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR RESISTANCE  table. If readings are not as specified, replace TP sensor.
