Transfer Shift Control Lever Removal and Installation: Removal

Remove covers (1) from center console boxes.
Remove rear center console box upper cover (2).
Remove 6 screws, and then take off rear center console box.

Remove boot cover.

Lift up boot No. 3 boot No. 2 (1).
Remove boot clamp and then lift up boot No. 1 (2) from transmission shift lever case (3).
With gear shift control case cover (4) pushed down with fingers, turn it to counter clockwise and take out shift control lever (5).
