Closed Throttle Position Switch

Disconnect Throttle Position (TP) sensor connector. Check continuity between indicated TP sensor connector terminals with accelerator pedal depressed and released. See CLOSED THROTTLE POSITION SWITCH CHECK  table. When accelerator pedal is depressed, continuity should not exist. When accelerator pedal is released, continuity should exist.

Without Traction Control 1 & 2
(1) Diamante is the only model equipped with a closed throttle position switch.
