Front Brake Caliper: Disassembly

- Remove caliper piston boot retaining ring (if equipped) and boot. Place a narrow wooden block between piston and caliper that will allow piston to clear its bore and not be damaged by caliper when removed.
- Using low pressure compressed air, apply air into caliper brakeline fitting hole to force piston out of caliper. Remove piston and wood block. Remove piston seal (use small flat-blade screwdriver if necessary). Remove bleeder screw.
