DTCS P0506 Or P0507: Idle Air Control System - Rpm Too Low/Rpm Too High: Condition

DTC P0506 is set when engine idle speed is 100 RPM or more lower than target idle speed for 20 seconds or more, continuously. MIL is illuminated when ECM detects malfunction during 2 consecutive drive cycles.

DTC P0507 is set when engine idle speed is 200 RPM or more higher than target idle speed for 20 seconds or more, continuously. MIL is illuminated when ECM detects malfunction during 2 consecutive drive cycles.
