Using Fuel Pressure Gauge

  1. Remove the union joint and bolt from Adaptor Hose (MD998709) and instead, attach Hose Adaptor (MB998742) to the adaptor hose.
  2. Place a suitable O-ring or gasket on assembled adaptor hose and hose adaptor and install the fuel pressure gauge.
  3. Install the assembled fuel pressure measurement tools between the fuel rail and high-pressure fuel hose. See Fig 1.
