Removal & Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Suzuki XL-7, 2002 Suzuki Vitara, and 2002 Suzuki Grand Vitara. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Disconnect negative cable (-) at battery.
  2. Disable air bag system. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
  3. Remove steering column hole cover (1). See Fig 1 .

  4. Remove instrument cluster panel (1). See Fig 2 .

  5. Remove screws fastening combination meter.
  6. Disconnect couplers from combination meter.
  7. Remove Combination meter from instrument panel.
  8. For installation reverse removal procedure for installation. Be sure to enable air bag system after installation. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
