Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers in the diagnostic procedures.

  1. 2

    This step verifies problem is present at idle.

  2. 4

    A frequency reading with the MAF sensor harness connector disconnected, indicates electromagnetic interference related fault.

  3. 8

    This vehicle is equipped with a Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (EEPROM) located in the PCM. Whenever PCM is replaced, replacement PCM must be programmed.
