  1. Turn A/C and lights OFF. Inspect and adjust at no load. Warm engine until stabilized at idle. Confirm idle speed is at prescribed RPM. See IDLE SPEED SPECIFICATIONS  under IDLE SPEED & MIXTURE. Stop engine (ignition switch OFF).
  2. Confirm there are no sharp bends in accelerator cable. Check inner cable for correct slack. If there is too much slack or no slack, go to next step.
  3. Turn ignition switch to ON position (without starting engine) and leave in that condition for approximately 15 seconds in order to initialize ISC motor. Loosen adjusting bolt to release cable. See Fig 1.
  4. After moving plate to position immediately before throttle lever starts to move, move plate back towards throttle body by standard value amount only to bring accelerator cable play to standard value. Standard value is 0.12-0.20" (3-5 mm).
  5. Tighten adjusting bolts. Confirm throttle lever stopper touches fixed Speed Adjusting Screw (SAS).
