Oil Pump Removal and Installation: Installation

Install oil pump to crankcase.
Tightening torque
1. Oil pump mounting bolt (short) (c): 27 N.m (2.7 kg-m, 19.5 lb-ft)
2. Oil pump mounting bolt (long) (d): 27 N.m (2.7 kg-m, 19.5 lb-ft)

Hand-tighten oil pump chain guide bolts (2).
To take up slack of oil pump chain, push center of oil pump chain guide (1) with a force of 0.5 to 0.6 N (50 - 60 g, 0.11 - 0.13 lb) then tighten oil pump chain guide bolts (2) to specified torque.
Tightening torque
1. Oil pump chain guide bolt (e): 11 N.m (1.1 kg-m, 8.0 lb-ft)

Install timing chain cover, oil pump strainer and oil pan.
Refer to TIMING CHAIN COVER & FRONT OIL SEAL for H25 engine or TIMING CHAIN COVER REMOVAL & INSTALLATION for H27 engine and OIL PAN AND OIL PUMP STRAINER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
