BCM General Description

The Body electrical Control Module (BCM) incorporates relays and controllers which used for the following systems and controls them.

• Power door lock
• Keyless entry
• Lighting
• Rear wiper and washer
• Combination meter
• Interior light
• Warning buzzer

For the each system diagnosis, refer to POWER DOOR LOCK SYSTEM CHECK , KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM CHECK , HEADLIGHTS SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS , FRONT FOG LIGHTS SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS , REAR WIPER AND WASHER SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS , PCM-BCM (H27 ENGINE WITH A/T MODEL ONLY) AND BCM-METER SIGNAL CIRCUIT CONSTRUCTION , and INTERIOR LIGHTS SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS .

Using the SUZUKI SCAN TOOL (TECH 2), BCM monitors the input signal from each switch and perform the operation check of each system. This helps to determine the trouble points easily.
