Throttle Position Sensor

(1) See Fig 1 for terminal identification.
(2) Depending on degree of throttle opening.

THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR VOLTAGE (1)

Application Volts
Aerio, Esteem (1.8L) & Grand Vitara (2)
At Idle .35-.65
At Wide Open Throttle 3.5-4.5
(1) Ignition on, with engine off.
(2) Measure voltage at ECM harness connector terminal No. C20-25 (Esteem 1.8L) or C51-3-12 (Grand Vitara). See PIN VOLTAGE/CIRCUIT RESISTANCE CHARTS article.
