HVAC Control Module Inspection

Remove HVAC control module assembly from instrumental panel referring to HVAC Control Module Removal and Installation .
Disassemble HVAC control module referring to HVAC Control Module (Panel Unit / Board Unit) Disassembly and Assembly .
Perform the following items.

NOTE: When checking for continuity, be sure to use the diode test mode of circuit tester, and make contact of positive prove to IN terminal and negative prove to OUT terminal in connector of panel unit.

Check for Continuity of A/C switch or air intake switch referring to the following table. There is continuity when keeping A/C switch or air intake switch pushed, and there is not continuity when not keeping A/C switch or air intake switch. If check result is not acceptable, replace panel unit with new one.

Check for continuity of each position of selectors (air flow selector, blow speed selector, and temperature selector) referring to the following table.
