Front Disc Brake Pads: Removal

- Raise and support vehicle. Mark position of front wheel relative to wheel hub to preserve wheel balance. Remove front wheel.
- Remove lower caliper sliding pin, and loosen upper caliper sliding pin. Rotate caliper upward, without disconnecting flexible brake line from caliper.
- Remove brake pads. Measure pad thickness. Replace pads if not within specification. See DISC BRAKE SPECIFICATIONS .
