DTC P0131 Or DTC P0132: Condition

DTC P0131 is set when Heated Oxygen Sensor No. 1 (HO2S-1) minimum output voltage is .04 volt or more. DTC P0132 is set when HO2S No. 1 maximum output voltage is more than 1.2 volts or is 0.6 volt or less. MIL is illuminated when Engine Control Module (ECM) detects malfunction during 2 consecutive drive cycles. Possible causes are:

• ECM malfunction.
• Fuel system malfunction.
• Fuel shortage.
• HO2S No. 1 malfunction.
• HO2S No. 1 circuit malfunction.
