Front Strut Assembly Removal and Installation: Installation

Install strut assembly by reversing removal procedure, noting the following instructions.

Tightening torque

Strut bracket nut (a): 105 N.m (10.5 kg-m, 76.0 Ft.Lbs)

Strut support nut (b): 28 N.m (2.8 kg-m, 20.5 Ft.Lbs)

Brake hose mounting bolt (c): 25 N.m (2.5 kg-m, 18.0 Ft.Lbs)

Stabilizer joint nut (d): 50 N.m (5.0 kg-m, 36.5 Ft.Lbs)

NOTE:

Don't twist brake hose and ABS wheel speed sensor harness (if equipped) when installing it.
Install ABS wheel speed sensor harness (if equipped) to strut bracket as shown in figure.

Tighten wheel nut to specified torque.
Tightening torque

Wheel nut: 85 N.m (8.5 kg-m, 61.5 Ft.Lbs)
After installation, confirm front wheel alignment.
