Receiver Dryer: Service and Repair

Desiccant

Removal
1. Remove condenser assembly referring to "Condenser Assembly Removal and Installation:".




2. Remove circlip (1), receiver / dryer cap (2) and filter (3).
3. Remove desiccant.

Installation
Reverse removal procedure to install desiccant noting the following instructions.
- Do not remove desiccant from the plastic bag until just before inserting it into the receiver.
- Replenish specified amount of compressor oil to compressor suction side by referring to "Replenishing Compressor Oil" in "Operation Procedure for Refrigerant Charging:".
