DTC C1071 (No.71): ABS Control Module

DTC Detecting Condition

This DTC will be set when an internal malfunction is detected in the ABS control module.

DTC Troubleshooting

1.
Clear all DTCs and check DTC.

Is it DTC 71?
YES
Go to Step 2.
NO
Could be a temporary malfunction of the ABS control module.

2. Check proper connection of ABS hydraulic unit/control module connector.
If OK, disconnect ABS hydraulic unit/control module connector and check the following.
- Voltage "E15-25" terminal: 10 - 14 V
- Resistance between "E15-22" or "E15-24" and body ground: Continuity

Are the check result as specified?
YES
Replace ABS hydraulic unit/control module assembly.
NO
Repair and recheck.
