Desiccant Bag: Installation

Reverse removal sequence to install desiccant bag.

NOTE:
  • When replacing desiccant, add 40 cc of refrigeration oil. See SPECIFICATIONS .
  • Do not remove desiccant from the plastic bag until just before inserting it into the receiver/dryer.
  • Install desiccant with its double-layer portion facing the bottom of the receiver/dryer. See Fig 3.
  • If desiccant cap is bolt type, tighten bolt to specified torque. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
