A/C Condenser Cooling Fan Control Pressure Switch

  1. Connect manifold gauge set to charging valve.
  2. Run engine and A/C switch ON.
  3. Check continuity and no continuity between "c" and "d" terminals of A/C refrigerant pressure switch according to A/C refrigerant pressure as shown.

    If operation is not as specified, replace A/C refrigerant pressure switch.

Triple pressure switch specifications 

  1. "A": Approx. 196 kPa (1.96 kg/cm2 , 27.9 psi)
  2. "B": Approx. 225 kPa (2.55 kg/cm2 , 36.3 psi)
  3. "C": Approx. 2550 kPa (25.50 kg/cm2 , 362.6 psi)
  4. "D": Approx. 3140 kPa (31.40 kg/cm2 , 446.5 psi)
  5. "E": Approx. 1080 kPa (10.80 kg/cm2 , 153.5 psi)
  6. "F": Approx. 1470 kPa (14.70 kg/cm2 , 209.0 psi)
