A/C Condenser Assembly Removal and Installation for H27 Engine Model: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative (-) cable at battery.
  2. Recover refrigerant by using recovery and recycling equipment.

    Be sure to follow the instruction manual for the equipment.

    The amount of compressor oil removed must be measured and the same amount added to the system.

  3. Remove front bumper assembly and lower stay (1) referring to FRONT BUMPER COMPONENTS .

  4. Disconnect compressor delivery hose (1) and liquid pipe (2) from condenser inlet fittings.
    CAUTION: As soon as above hose and pipe are disconnected, cap opened fittings so that moisture and dust do not enter condenser.

  5. Disconnect condenser cooling fan motor coupler (2).

  6. Remove condenser fan mounting nuts (1) from condenser.
  7. Remove condenser fan.
    NOTE: Be careful not to damage fins of condenser.

  8. Remove condenser mounting bolts (1) from vehicle.
  9. Remove condenser.
    NOTE: Be careful not to damage fins of condenser and radiator.
