A/C Compressor Relay and Condenser Fan Motor Relay Inspection

  1. Disconnect negative (-) cable at battery.
  2. For H25 engine model: 
    1. Remove condenser fan motor relay (2) and compressor relay (1) from vehicle.

    For H27 engine model: 

    1. Remove condenser fan motor low speed relay (2), condenser fan motor high speed relay 1 (4), condenser fan motor high speed relay 2 (5), and compressor relay (1) from vehicle.
  3. Check that there is no continuity between terminal "c" and "d". If there is continuity, replace relay.
  4. Connect battery positive (+) terminal to terminal "b" of relay.

    Connect battery negative (-) terminal to terminal "a" of relay.

    Check continuity between terminal "c" and "d".

    If there is no continuity when relay is connected to the battery, replace relay.
