Stabilizer Bar: Installation

- Install stabilizer bar. See Figure .
- Align the stabilizer bar identification mark with the right end of the bushing (left-hand side). See Fig 1 .
- Tighten the self-locking nut until the stabilizer link thread part protruding length is as shown. See Figure .
- Install steering gear and joint connecting bolt. See Figure .
- Install steering shaft cover.
- Install rear roll stopper connecting bolt.
- Install power steering hose clamp.
- Install front exhaust pipe. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install center member.
- Install steering wheel, air bag module assembly, and clock spring. See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE & CLOCKSPRING under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in AIR BAG article under RESTRAINTS SYSTEMS.
- Install side under cover and center under cover.
