Bench Testing: Stator

To test stator for an open circuit, use ohmmeter to check all leads for continuity. If there is no continuity, replace the stator (1). See Fig 1 or Fig 2 .
Using an ohmmeter, check that there is no continuity between coil leads (2) and stator core (1). If there is continuity, replace stator. See Fig 1 or Fig 2 .
