Following conditions must be met for DTC diagnostic test to run:
- Barometer (BARO) pressure is 72.3 kPa or more.
- No MAP sensor, TPS, IAT sensor, ECT sensor, EGR sensor, VSS, EVAP purge solenoid or EVAP vent solenoid DTCs are set.
- Start-up engine coolant temperature and intake air temperature is between 40°F (4.2°C) and 95°F (35°C) at engine start-up.
- Difference between IAT and ECT at start-up is less than 12.2°F (6.75°C).
- Fuel level counts vary by less than 12 counts in a .125 second time frame.
- Fuel tank level sensor reads between 15 and 85 percent.
- Maximum engine run time is 390 seconds or more.
- Difference between fuel tank pressure and expected fuel tank pressure is less than PCM expectation.
- Fuel tank pressure slope is less than or equal to .098 in. (2.4 mm) of water per second.
Above conditions are met, and following condition is met once per ignition cycle.
- A single 10 second vacuum decay slope, and two 5 second vacuum slopes are all more than or equal to PCMs upper threshold.
