Code Enable Criteria

Following conditions must be met for DTC diagnostic test to run:

No scan tool test is being run.
Engine has been running for 500 seconds or more.
No EGR, HO2S (response, transition, open, low voltage, no activity). MAF sensor, TPS, MAP sensor, IAT sensor, EVAP system (canister purge), fuel injector circuit or misfire DTCs are set.
Engine coolant temperature is between 149°F (65°C) and 219°F (104°C).
Intake air temperature is between -40°F (-40°C) and 248°F (120°C).
Manifold absolute pressure is between 24 and 99 kPa.
Ignition voltage is 9.5 volts or more.
Engine speed is between 400 and 6000 RPM.
Barometric pressure is 72.5 kPa or more.
Engine is operating in closed loop mode.
Average of long term fuel trim samples is less than .968, and average adaptive index multiplier sample is less than .914. Rich counter is more than 10 during 2.5 second period.
