Code Enable Criteria

Following conditions must be met for DTC diagnostic test to run:
Cold Case Test
- Start-up ECT is between 50°F (10°C) and 20°F (-7°C).
- Accumulated airflow is 10000 grams/sec. or more.
- Engine run time is less than 450 seconds.
- Time for coolant to reach 74°F (23°C) is less than 800 seconds.
Warm Case Test
- Start-up ECT is between 98°F (37°C) and 50°F (10°C).
- Depending on start-up ECT, time for coolant to reach 74°F (23°C) must be less than a predetermined value. See START-UP COOLANT (FQCSTR1T) table.
- Depending on start-up ECT, total air flow is more than a predetermined value. See START-UP COOLANT (FQCSTR1A) table.
