Intermittent problem may be caused by poor connections, misrouted harness, rubbed through wire insulation, broken wire inside insulation. Check for faulty connection PCM. Inspect harness connectors for backed out terminals, improper mating, broken locks, improperly formed or damaged terminals, faulty terminal to wire connection. Check for wire harness damage. Using scan tool, observe display for ION Sensing Monitor while moving related wire harness connectors and wire harnesses. A change in display will indicate location of fault. If DTC P1310 can not be duplicated, reviewing scan tool FAILURE RECORDS data can be useful in determining mileage and frequency of DTC occurrence.
