Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers in the diagnostic procedures.

    When EVAP canister vent solenoid or EVAP canister purge solenoid electrical fault is present, purge system will not operate properly. Repairing fault will most likely correct condition which caused DTC P0442 to store.

  2. 3

    This step checks fuel tank pressure at ambient pressure.

  3. 4

    This step verifies that fuel tank pressure accurately reacts to EVAP system pressure changes.
