Brake Switch

  1. Ensure that brake pedal is fully returned by pedal return spring. See Fig 1 .
  2. Disconnect brake switch 2-pin harness connector.
  3. Loosen lock nut. Rotate brake switch by hand until push rod disappears from brake switch tip.
  4. Back brake switch out 1/2 turn. Tighten lock nut. Connect harness connector. Test brake light operation. If necessary repeat adjustment until brake lights operate normally.
