Removal (Aerio)

WARNING: Always relieve fuel pressure before disconnecting any fuel injection-related component. Do not allow fuel to contact engine or electrical components.

Relieve fuel pressure. See FUEL PRESSURE RELIEF . Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove engine cover. See ENGINE COVER . Remove cover bracket. Remove fuel pressure regulator (1) from delivery pipe (3). See Figure . Disconnect fuel return hose (2) and vacuum hose (4) from pressure regulator.
