EVAP Canister: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Suzuki XL-7, 2003 Suzuki Vitara, 2003 Suzuki Grand Vitara, and 2003 Suzuki Aerio. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install EVAP canister to bracket.
  2. Install EVAP canister with its bracket (1) to vehicle. See Fig 2 .
  3. Connect vent valve wire harness connector.
  4. Connect purge hose, vent valve hose and refuel vapor control valve hose to pipes, and clamp them securely. For quick joint, push joint into pipe until joint lock clicks.

  1. Connect air valve hose to EVAP canister.
  2. Install EVAP canister (1) to its bracket. See Fig 1 .
  3. Connect tank hose, purge hose and refuel vapor control valve hose to EVAP canister (1), and clamp then securely. For quick joint, push joint into pipe till joint lock clicks. See Fig 1 .
