Fuel System Pressure Release: Montero

Turn ignition off. Fold second seat to gain access to fuel pump module access hole cover. See Fig 1. Remove access hole cover (upper side) and packing. Remove access hole cover and upper side packing. Disconnect fuel pump module harness connector. Start engine. Allow engine to operate until it stalls. Turn ignition off. Reconnect fuel pump harness connector after repairs are completed. Reinstall upper side packing and access hole cover.
