Lancer & Outlander

Remove rear seat cushion. See Figure, Figure or Figure . Remove access plate to gain access to fuel pump module harness connector. See Figure. Disconnect fuel pump module harness connector. See Fig 1 or Fig 2 . Start engine. Allow engine to operate until it stalls. Turn ignition off. Reconnect fuel pump harness connector after repairs are completed. Reinstall access plate and rear seat cushion.
