Removal (Montero)

  1. Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE .
  2. Fold second seat to gain access to fuel pump module access hole cover. See Figure. Remove access hole cover (upper side) and packing. Remove access hole cover (lower side) and packing. Disconnect fuel pump module harness connector. Disconnect fuel high-pressure fuel hose and fuel tank hose. Unscrew mounting nut to remove fuel pump module. See Figure.
