Passenger-Side Air Bag Module: Removal

- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disconnect negative battery cable. Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
- Passenger-side air bag module is located on right side of instrument panel. Open glove box, then while pressing glove box stopper, pull out glove box from instrument panel. Disconnect connector. Remove 6 attaching bolts. Remove module from vehicle. See Figure.
