System Operation Check

Turn ignition switch to ON position. If AIR BAG warning light flashes 7 times then remains off, air bag system is functioning properly. If AIR BAG warning light does not light or is on continuously, see AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS..
