Code Enable Criteria

Following conditions must be met for DTC diagnostic test to run:

Engine is running.
Ignition voltage is between 11 and 16 volts.
Intake air temperature is 37°F (3°C) or more.
Desired EGR position is less than 3 percent.
Difference between desired EGR and current EGR is less than 3 percent.
Difference between EGR pintle current and command positions becomes more than 15 percent and lasts 15 seconds or more, condition is met three times in a trip cycle, PCM will illuminate MIL.
