Ignition (Main) Switch Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative cable at battery.
  2. Disable air bag system. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
  3. Remove steering lock assembly (ignition switch) from steering column referring to STEERING LOCK ASSEMBLY (IGNITION SWITCH) REMO .
