Propeller Shaft Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Hoist vehicle.
  2. Drain transfer oil only when servicing front propeller shaft.
  3. Before removing propeller shaft, give match marks (1) on joint flange and propeller shaft as shown in the figure.

  4. Remove propeller shaft.
