Water Pump Removal and Installation: Removal

- Disconnect negative cable at battery.
- Drain engine oil.
- Drain coolant.
- Remove timing chain cover. Refer to TIMING CHAIN COVER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove water pump assembly (1).
