Engine Block Heater Removal and Installation: Installation

Reverse removal procedure for installation, noting the followings.

Install engine block heater (1) in the direction as shown in the figure.

Tighten engine block heater mounting bolt to specified torque.
Tightening torque

Engine block heater mounting bolt (a): 11 N.m (1.1 kg-m, 8.0 lb-ft)

Use new exhaust manifold gasket.
Tighten exhaust manifold mounting bolts and nuts to specified torque referring to "EXHAUST MANIFOLD REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
Refill cooling system with coolant, front differential with gear oil, P/S system with specified fluid and engine with engine oil.
Finally, start engine and check for engine coolant leaks and exhaust gas leakage
