DTC Confirmation Test (P0444)

  1. With ignition switch OFF, connect scan tool. Turn ignition switch ON and clear DTCs. See CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
  2. Start engine and warm up to normal operating temperature. Drive vehicle at engine speed of 4000 rpm or less for 10 seconds or more. Stop vehicle and check DTC and pending DTC. See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  .
