DTC P0137 Or DTC P0138: Condition

DTC P0137 is set when ECM (PCM) detects maximum HO2S Bank 1, Sensor 2 voltage input is more than 0.5 volt for 4 seconds when fuel is cut. DTC P0138 is set when ECM (PCM) detects maximum HO2S Bank 1, Sensor 2 voltage input is less than 0.35 volt , or more than 2 volts for 20 seconds. MIL is illuminated when ECM (PCM) detects malfunction during 2 consecutive drive cycles. Possible causes are:
- HO2S Bank 1, Sensor 2 malfunction.
- HO2S Bank 1, Sensor 2 circuit malfunction.
- Fuel injector malfunction.
- Fuel pressure control system malfunction.
- ECM (PCM) malfunction.
- Low fuel level.
