DTC Confirmation Test

Turn ignition off, connect scan tool and turn ignition on. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. See CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Turn ignition off. Turn ignition on for 2 seconds, crank engine for 2 seconds, then start engine and allow engine to idle for 1 minute. Using scan tool, check for current or pending DTC P1450 or P1451. See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If DTC resets, go to appropriate DIAGNOSIS & REPAIR PROCEDURE.
